Axle Types
An axle is the central shaft of a rotating gear or wheel. Axles are either fixed to the wheels or mounted directly to the vehicle. Spindles
The spindles on a vehicle’s axle are the main components that connect the wheels to the axle. They mount the wheels on the axle and fasten the braking system to the axle assembly. Drop out axles
